Our Story...

    Hi my name is Sam Dabas and Im going to tell you The Family Store story. I run and live in the Family Store.  I have no formal cooking education aside from the tuteledge I have received from my mother Minerva who is incidentally my idol and to put it simply one of the most amazing women on this planet  and also to my constant quest for knowledge both in technique and presentation.  I love food and I love serving people.  My greatest satisfaction comes from the big smile on someone's face or how many oh my gods i hear after they have tasted one of my concoctions.  That is what keeps me going six days 85 hours a week.
 

    During my time here about five years, I have been in a constant state of discovery and learning.  One of the most intriguing and promising discoveries I have made is the value of quality in the marketplace today.  I must say that I would base our recent success on our constant attention to quality, and to our quest to remain unique and delicious.  If you have been to the Family Store recently I think you can attest to the fact that nothing we make is ordinary.  So pop in some time we would really love to have you.
